It appears finding a current browser for ppc is nigh on impossible. Firefox
ceased support at Firefox 3.6

As far as I know, Chromium (V8 in fact) doesn't support powerpc. Unless
someone came with a powerpc version, Chromium will never be available on
powerpc. That's said, it doesn't solve the problem we have on Lubuntu
powerpc, where all the config files, and the slideshow refer to
chromium-browser, ev

There's not much that can be done about this until someone debugs the
powerpc build for chromium, right now it exits on arch check as it's
known not to work.
