Moving to dpkg as the problem here is clearly dpkg segfaulting. Looking at the syslog it's not obvious if that was somehow hardware related or an actual dpkg bug, the lack of stacktrace probably won't help debugging it further either :( ** Package changed: ubiquity (Ubuntu) = dpkg (Ubuntu) --
