I am affected by the same bug and followed this post to change the xorg.conf settings: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1883119 So the text used is: SubSection Display Depth 24 Virtual 2304 2048 EndSubSection This did not help.

Doesn't seem like a driver issue to me. A fix for this problem on 11.10 involved increasing the size of the virtual parametr under display in /etc/X11/xorg.conf. 12.04 has no xorg.conf, but I expect that hte problem and its resolution will be the same in spirit. -- You received this bug
