Public bug reported: The network manager application indicator shows the computer as disconnected from the network even though it is successfully connected to a known wi-fi network and can access the internet as normal. This happens in Unity 2D.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Start a Unity session in range of a well-known wi-fi network, 2. The computer connects to the wi-fi network but the application indicator stays greyed out, 3. Start a web browser, 4. Go to any URL in the browser to confirm that internet access works, 5. The browser displays the content of the URL. Expected behaviour: In step 2, the application indicator's status should be consistent with the connection status.
