I think there's a race condition involved in this. On the computer on
which I am typing this, we get the bug when my girlfriend logs into
GNOME Shell but not when I do. Also, today it got so much worse that it

I managed to run nvidia+unity 3D, and while transparency worked it was
REALLY slow, and trying to launch gnome-shell --replace gives a
clutter error. Back to nouveau. The thing is that older version of
precise worked with the nvidia driver, so this is a regression withou a
very long back time
same here. only gnome classic (no effects) will run.

I got this when i upgraded to 3.2.0-20, and still have it with 3.2.0-22
gnome-shell and unity wont launch because of this. I also oddly enough, get bad
performance with wine since -20
