Public bug reported: Selected text is displayed as white on a white background.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Tested with up-to-date Kubuntu 12.04 amd64 2. Install gedit 3. Type and then select some text Switching to an alternative GTK+ style (e.g. Rayleigh) resolves the issue. Uninstalling the gtk3-engines-oxygen package resolves this issue but leads to other problems, for example a default theme of black on a black background in gnome-terminal. ** Affects: oxygen-gtk3 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/965961 Title: Invisible selected text To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/oxygen-gtk3/+bug/965961/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
