Public bug reported:

My home network is very slow so while downloading packages there might be dns 
failures or general connection failures.
The software center asks for single sign on credentials every time 
recommendations are shown (home screen, graphics / game / internet... screen) 
even if I click on cancel.
When the network works again I can login to SSO and recommendations are shown, 
login credentials are lost the next time my network is overcrowded.

What you expected to happen:
Error message reporting network failure.
What happened instead:
Annoying login window. Appearing on nearly every click while using 
software-center.

I also can reproduce this if I use a lan which blocks all outgoing
requests.
