Public bug reported:

When ubuntu-7.04-beta-server-i386 was released I could install it with
no problem. Now the install fails when it goes to install grub if I have
a network connection.

1. Network connected
The install fails towards the end when it goes to install grub. There was

GPG error: http://au.archive.ubuntu.com feisty Release: The following
signatures were invalid: BADSIG 40976EAF437D05B5 Ubuntu Archive
Automatic Signing Key <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

a bit before

Mar 27 07:48:24 apt-install: WARNING: The following packages cannot be
authenticated!
Mar 27 07:48:24 apt-install: grub

2. Network not connected
The install works with a couple of problems. The installer asks for proxy
settings even though there is no network. Once the install has finished I have
to manually edit /etc/network/interfaces in the new system to get eth0 working.

It seemed strange being asked for proxy settings when there was no network. As
the installer accesses the internet it would be nice being asked for proxy
settings when the network is live.
