Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 12.04 Beta 2 won't shutdown or restart. I made an upgrade of the
packages, and after this the system hat to be resarted. After a few
seconds the screen turns black, but the fan was still turning.
I tried to restart it with the terminal and by GUI, both didn't worked.
