Public bug reported: Whenever I resume from suspend, the mouse pointer stops responding normally: It doesn't move at all if I use a single finger to track it. If I use two fingers (which normally works for scrolling), the mouse pointer does move. Now it functions as if I'm using a single finger. Scroll, of course doesn't work then.
Using the 12.04 Beta test release. This problem cropped up only after a recent update. Before this, the laptop wouldn't go to suspend on closing the lid. Now, it does suspend, but the trackpad doesn't respond on resume. Using Dell XPS L501x and synaptics trackpad. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/971365 Title: Synaptics touch pad stops working correctly after suspend/resume To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/971365/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
