Public bug reported:

I have no other way of bringing this up, that I know of. Hence I'm
reporting this as a bug.

Prior to some recent updates, clicking on a launcher icon, for a program
with multiple windows open, would display ALL the related windows,
across ALL the workspaces together, so that the user may select which
window he needs to select.

Now, It only shows windows open in the current workspace. And if it's
not in the current workspace, it takes you to the worskpace in which the
window instance was last used.

This behaviour is too confusing. Even the Super+w combination only
brings up windows in the current workspace. Completely ignores the key
bindings in the compize plugins which relate to this function. Which is
unexpected behaviour.

It used to work more predictably before. If anything, I suggest you have
a Super+w to show windows of current workspace, and ALT+super+w for all
workspaces.

Why change something that was perfectly usable?

** Affects: unity (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
