Here the same. Even in 12.10 is this bug still present. Pc hangs and the
only solution for me is to force a shutdown by pressing the reset
button. It happens quite often but not always. I experienced this bug in
three different machines.

I can also experience this bug.
When Super+W or Alt+Shift+Up, I find myself unable to quit the Scale plugin.
Only solution for me is to go to Ctrl+Alt+1 and restart unity from there.
