try installing xserver-xorg-video-unichrome and changing the Driver in
xorg.conf.

Wonder whether this bug sequence is a duplicate of 68901?
When I use the 'unichrome' Driver I get a failed X server. From Xorg.log
(II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers//unichrome_drv.so

Also you may have to manually set it up in xorg.conf as "unichrome".

Thanks for the bug report. Have you tried installing xserver-xorg-
video-unichrome with apt-get? It wasn't installed by default for me.
