Sorry, this is indeed about the ` character and not tilde at all.
Sounds like we need to change the description of the shortcut from "Alt
+ Grave" to "Alt + Grave (`)" or "Alt + Grave (Back-quote)".
In my experience, grave is called "back-tick" or "back-quote", but
that's probably just somethi
Please note that UK keyboard layouts don't have a tilde on that key.
