Do you have the gir1.2-gconf-2.0 package installed? (if not I suggest you try this) python-gconf doesn't provide the "GConf-2.0.typelib" in "/usr/lib/girepository-1.0/", I guess python-gconf is another older binding. Anyways, installing gir1.2-gconf-2.0 fixed this for me. So if it fixes it for yo
