Might be related to a upstream bug, and is probably going to be fixed in
3.4-rc5 or final by reverting nouveau's custom handling of i2c. After a
change in i2c it would no longer be needed, if nouveau's going to be
backported the i2c change probably needs to be backported too. I haven't
looked yet w
The memory card reader still doesn't work but at least doesn't crash the
system.

Described crashes have occured when booted from Beta 2 USB stick.
I have now created separate partition for Precise Pangolin and installed
all patches.
The laptop now works fine and I can't replicate it again.
I will keep booting to 12.04 (11.10 is still installed on separate
partition) an
Hmm, the stack traces in these two cases differ. The latter one
indicates a general protection oops in the kernel hit by kworker. The
former shows a page fault that has something to do with apparmor hit by
Xorg. It does seem coincidental that they both occurred after
upgrading, and they could ha

This laptop has just crashed after plugging in SDHC card, so this may
not be fully related to just a VGA ouptup.
Just to add that this laptop was running 11.04 since today without any
problems or freezes.
