Public bug reported:

totem/gstreamer in precise fails to play a video file which VLC in
precise plays fine, and I believe I've played the same file in
totem/gstreamer in older Ubuntu releases fine too.

The symptoms of the failure are the totem properties declaring the video
size to be 0x0 and neither audio nor video appearing.
