Runs fine with smbd.
Samba4 has the error.
I hope this is of some use.
I changed the permissions to get it across a windows network.

I tried the obvious workaround of chmod 755
/usr/share/samba/setoption.pl and then reattempting the installation and
I get some more errors, so it looks like packaging for samba4 still
needs quite a bit of work.

so I assume this is a new bug. I did "complete removal" of everything
related to samba and tried to install samba4 but hit several missing
dependencies, so will try again in a few days
