Hey,
I'm using ubuntu 11.10 amd64 with all latest updates and there is a
annoying bug with me-tv (1.3.6).
When I minimize me-tv to the dock the sound from me-tv is still present.
But it should be muted during being minimized and unmuted when reopened again.

This is not a bug, it's a feature request. A lot of person listen to TV
when minimized. You just have to mute before minimizing.
If you keep me-tv open just to record program, you should try the new
version 1.4.0 form the
PPAhttps://launchpad.net/~me-tv-development/+archive/ppa.
