I tested teamspeak3 today - same problems. Seems like the sound driver
for ALC888 is buggy when using microphone.

I have noticed similar issues with ALC892, please have a look at Bug
#975135. For me alsa-only (with pasuspender) seems to keep sound quality
ok, but that setup has issues mentioned at Bug #986774.

i tried some options for snd-hda-intel in
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
Changing these options could not fix it.
