To be honest, I have given up on this fault. In the meantime I installed
a "3.11.0-19-generic" kernel for Ubuntu 12.04. The "ill corner" is still
there, but beyond its visual appearance it does not hinder anyth

Fetched the current ISO image and brought it to an USB stick alread
petroo, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
