I believe this happened when you were trying to install Ubuntu - is that
correct? I'd like to see /var/log/syslog from the installation attempt
or /var/log/installer/syslog if you managed to install the system.
Where you trying to install any other software when this happened?

From a duplicate bug report:
And when ubuntu instalation is finished i try to instal desktop
drivers, and ubuntu cant do that
After the installation finishes you would need to reboot the system so
that you are in the installed environment to install the drivers
successfully.

Looking at the majority of the AptOrdering.txt attachments we can see
references to nvidia which certainly is an additional driver.
