I can confirm this issue. Although for me it is when using Firefox.
Specifically, it is when I use the Alt+LeftArrow keys to navigate
backward in Firefox but I end up just pressing the Alt key which
launches the Dash. At that point Xorg freezes. I've looked over the
Xorg.0.log(.old) file after rest
Sorry about the huge delay on this. Have not had a chance to look at
this system in a while.

could you go to a vt then and copy Xorg.0.log, if the session is still
running we need the actual log not the .old (which is the one rotated if
you had restarted to get back to a working box)

Yeah going to virtual terms works fine, but Xorg is locked hard.

Thank you for your bug report, can you still go to a vt using ctrl-
alt-f1 when that happens? could you add your Xorg.0.log(.old) to the bug
when you get the issue?
