The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.

Hi Marc,
Just curious if these boards are still being certified and if so does

I have tried to reproduce the hibernation problem after having booted
from the 2.6.20-14-generic kernel and I still experience the exact same

Tim, this is a hw cert bug. Please work with Marc to see if we can fix
it for release.
It might be that the new libata-acpi stuff will fix it. If the machine
can be installed with feisty, then perhaps just a test kernel to see if
it is fixed in git would suffice.

By the way, when selecting Shutdown instead of Hibernate from the Quit
window, the machine also stalls. However, instead of displaying the
"Power down" message, the user only sees the Ubuntu logo and the
progress bar.
