I am confirming the bug is still here in Gutsy Gibbon release (7.10).
When I am switching languages into Russian and back to English there are some
artifacts on the right part of screen (rightmost Russian letters from Russian
boot menu).

I should add that I tried it with language set to English and Greek
(Ελληνικά) via the F2 menu. Don't know if it appears on other languages.
