Also Just confirming.
aditional info.
if replying and already made changes, than changing color freezes everything.
but you can't close the message beacause you made changes and the buttons to
discard etc don't work.
only way is to destroy process in system monitor. or killall in command promt.
After having upgraded to 12.04 , evolution freezes when composing a new
message and selecting color in html mode
