reported upstream.

Amarok crash all times

Dear all,
I've changed phonon-backend-vlc or phonon-backend-gstreamer and now
finally i could play music when before Amarok just crash and exit. But
the problem when i click on EXIT button is still there. The app crashes
all the time on EXIT command.

The problem is with the phonon-backend-xine, which is deprecated and
unmaintained since quite some time. Just like Debian did, Ubuntu should
remove the backend on updates.

Status
Configuring Phonon to use Gstreamer as backend instead of Xine solve
crashes.
By the way there is a problems with Dr Konqi it report that amarok dbg symbols
aren't installed (missing debug symbol for /usr/bin/amarok) but the package is
installed:
LC_ALL=C apt-cache policy amarok-dbg
