I do no if this is the right answer to your question but I faced the
same kind of problem : The MaaS web user interface became unrecheable
after changing the IP address of my controller.
The solution was to reconfigure a lot of MaaS related packages :
dpkg --get-selections | grep maas

I realize in my case it is a case of the primary dns not wanting to
give up mac address lease of machine. If the maas could initiate a
clean lease with dns at middle to end of available ip addresses it would
be much more desirable.

I also experienced this. I didn't try to reinstall,but the next time I
started maas my router gave it a new ip. It still showed the old config
ip in dpkg --reconfigure maas. Had to do an if config to even find the
new address. The system dashboard came up fine from this new ip but this
