I agree that bug 460906 is a valid bug and should be fixed. I also agree that this bug needs to be fixed. I do think that the patterns need to be checked and expanded a little more. When I plugged in my external hard-drive with full disk LVM2 (no partitions) (as normal people usually do ;-) ) the
