Public bug reported: I met this error after new installation of Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx. It's not a hardware problem cause I have a Windows XP in dual boot and in Win sound card works good without any exception. The sound stop works ever when I use any program and stop works if I do nothing probably ten minutes after logon.
I attach a output of command: $ cat /var/log/syslog |grep pulseaudio I am sorry to say that syslog contain some Czech words… E.g. the first sentence mean in English: snd_pcm_avail() navrátil hodnotu, která je nezvykle vysoká: 4294963992 bajtů (24347868 ms). snd_pcm_avail() return a value that is exceptionally large: 4294963992 bytes (24347868 ms). ** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: alsa pulseaudio -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/996808 Title: Sound stop works 10 minutes after logon To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/996808/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
