Public bug reported: thiago@thiago-laptop:~$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Release: 12.04
thiago@thiago-laptop:~$ apt-cache policy eog eog: Installed: 3.4.1-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 3.4.1-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 3.4.1-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status I've looked into #272584, but I cannot decide if this bug is a duplicate of that one. I have tried to reproduce that bug, using the provided images, but got the opposite result: image_noicc_noexif.jpg appears to be rendered correctly, while image_sRGB.jpg is not. Also, the color distortion seems different from the reported on #272584, maybe because of a different monitor? I'm attaching a screenshot, using the same sample images at #272584.
