Public bug reported: Attempts to install bcmwl-kernel-source (the wl wireless driver) through the Software Centre fail with this error. The default bcma driver gave me a wireless connection (albeit a weak one) when running 12.10 from a live USB stick. The same driver fails to connect to the internet after install on a partition so no wireless at all so far. I've installed
