Public bug reported:

Upgrade Manager reported updates. My attempt to upgrade failed. After
restarting it prompted me to use apt-get install f in terminal. It
failed. Would not let me do it with the pop-up window open but when I
closed it, it worked. I received help on issue but would not have known
to do this on my own, so it would be helpful if it allowed me to do it
with the window open.

Thanks,
Colleen Mason
