Hai! First of all I would check wikipedia. There you can read, you can split with ANY double cards - but: an variant is you can only split an 9, 10, or 11. If this an variant from Vegas is... - I don't know.
But: After checking the rules in wikipedia I found some other errors! A. The chain of given cards is wrong: In the rules from wikipedia is 1th card for me 2nd card for croupier 3rd card for me 4th card for me - not for croupier!!! (if desired) 5th card for me... and so on til I check busted. B. An splitted hand you can't double. After reseaching in google I found some sites with other rules (spec. for Vegas): http://www.casinocity.com/rule/black.htm http://www.ildado.com/blackjack_rules.html http://www.sportbet.com/Blackjack/Blackjack-Rules.html http://wizardofodds.com/blackjack/vegas.html As you can see on the latest site many variants of BJ are 'correct'.
