Because it's usefull.
If I want to calculate and I need to do 5,99 + 6,38 + 7,56 + 8,90+2,72 it's
actually not possible...
The calculator will do this : 599 + 699+756+890+272
Just try it to understand.
Wouldn't you need to use .(dot) instead of a comma?
