Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: My notebook headphone jack is no sound on Ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS. And I installed latest Alsa driver 1.0.17 in my Ubuntu. When I before install alsa driver I change the alsa-kernel/pci/hda/patch_via.c this file (detail from:http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=556217). After I installed the alsa driver. The headphone jack is still no sound.
