No, it shows the exact time listed in the event. I.e. import an event
that is listed at 5pm Pacific time, should show as 8pm eastern time (3

I'm not an expert on this by any means but I think that the people in
this discussion have confused the OtherOS installer (used by the PS3
Game OS and not open source) with the otheros.bld file which is open
source. If you look on the Gentoo minimal CD for the PS3, they have 3
otheros.bld files

may change the state of the device's display from don't disconnect me
to OK to disconnect, flush internal buffers et al.

I made an install from scratch.
My nvidia gf fx 5200 and fusi t17-1 worked well with 'nv'.
After enabling hw acceleration at Restrictid Drivers and restarting gdm I got
some error. Reboot.
After that I got a us-english keyboard, 50Hz and 1024*768.
xorg.conf got the following not-really-good
We need some more tons of bugfixes for this bug.
