I think that as long as the udev file for ethernet devices (70
-persistent-net.rules) has right mac addresses it's not a kernel issue,
but udev fault. What's more, if I remove all the references to any

It is not just openoffice it is also QT applications (skype) and
Synaptic in sudo mode (but i guess that is because the fonts.conf is in
home dir). So it is not really a good workaround. Anyhow it should get
