I think I have found a problem with deleting users in samba/ubuntu. It
seems it 'corrupts' the password file.

Hello! At first i've started having segfaults when trying to sudo, then
i've restarted my machine and could not login at all. To solve this i've
entered recovery mode, opened the root prompt and used this command
apt-get purge -y samba samba-common samba-client libpam-smbpass apt-
get install -y

I can't reproduce the bug with nslookup here...
On a side note, search and domain directives overwrite one another.
Either the first or last wins (don't remember or care which, it may well
vary...), and determines the value(s) used for the other.

The answers given by the DNS have a TTL, and will automatically be
flushed when they are no longer valid. Arbitrarily flushing the cache
for everyone is not correct behavior.
What I would suggest doing instead (in your case) is changing the
reconfig to a restart in /etc/network/if-up.d/bind9,

in it's '/sbin/dhclient3' section:

How to reproduce:
install apparmor and mysql-server in Ubuntu 8.10.
on the shel open a mysql console and say SHOW COLUMNS FROM `mysql`.`user` ;
you will get:

I'm not sure what my liking would be, I use webmin to controle this box,
after the update all the settings in Samba where lost, so i just took 5
min to set it up again (nothing advanced there, just 4 shares).
My Apache seams to be screwed though, only one or tow of the 6 virtual
machines seams to

1) I used sudo aptitude update and then sudo aptitude safe-upgrade.
Brasero and libbrasero were not upgraded.
2) I expected an upgrade.
3) I encountered a conflict with nautilus-cd-burner. I removed it, and

Ok let me make it more clear. The bug isn't that stopping dbus logs a
desktop user out. The bug is that the desktop computer is now USELESS.

I have a Eeebox B202 with this chipset and when i tried to connect, it
don't connect with WPA.

fail2ban doesn't read /etc/fail2ban.conf at all. The default
fail2ban.conf only configures loglevel, logtarget and the socket path,
so if you don't read the manual how to configure the jails (in
fail2ban.jail) then I'm not sure how it can be a bug.

I think I have found a problem with deleting users in samba/ubuntu. It
seems it 'corrupts' the password file.

This happens to me with the latest version of notify-osd 0.9.5-0ubuntu1
But this happens because right now, due to bug 343553, brightness
notifications are treated as asynchronous notifications, rather than
synchronous. When this bug is fixed, volume brightness won't appear at
the same time.

Got same problems when installed Ubuntu 8.10 Desktop. The evdev
interface seems to have some problems, it is only related to
mouse/keyboard, I do not know if it matter what are they (Logitech
Bluetooth Desktop 5000). My library that work with input devices stopped
processing mouse/keyboard event
My comment was for Stefan Bader, who built the kernel based on Brian
Roger's patch.
Since the patched kernel is for Intrepid, I can't test it in Jaunty,
which also features this issue.
