Same issues here. I have an ATI 4850 - for which support has not yet
been dropped as it is a new card. Was working perfectly in 8.10. The
upgrade to 9.04 resulted in graphical corruption on the screen and a
system hang when starting X. Removing the driver allows boot into non-
accelerated GUI.
No worries! I've finally got it again. See attached archive - this new
kernel feature is very nice, indeed.

Amarok 2 offers a totally new UI metaphor. It is a new application that
simply shares the same name than Amarok 1.4.
Also it features regressions, like the lack of dynamic playlists (e.g.

The xorg.conf workaround worked for me on intrepid, but it does not work
anymore.

looks like the default python for jaunty is 2.6, while the xen libraries
only exist for 2.5. Editing /usr/bin/convirt and changing python
apport-collect crashes when run against this bug (reported as bug
363056). I've attached the output of printingbuginfo instead, which the
wiki page said should be the same.
I'm using an Epson R300, the driver info appears to be in the

This is happening on IBM thinkpad T61 laptop. This behavior happens when i am
on Wireless and is used at maximum bandwidth
And on IBM thinkpad R51, this happens after wake-up from a successful hibernate
I have found the above issues only after upgrade to intrepid.

I have exactly the same problem. I was able to work around it following
the instructions in a comment to another mp3 encoding bug (in K3b):
Create a file ~/bin/lame with the following content:
#!/bin/sh
/usr/bin/lame --big-endian -x $@
--
MP3 file dragged from audio cd is just noise
i request this to be reopended as a wishlist bug.
this is somewhere in the middle between a bug and an idea how to improve.
the format of the source image should not matter (as long as it is
something reasonable) and as netbook remix ships in img-format it should
be supported!

I tried this patch and I now have the 2.1.0.0 driver working on WPA
again but not WPA2 but that is better than the last post where i could
get any WPA connection.
I don't know how to use the patch the file so i looked at the patch,
figured out the sytax and realise that what it does

During the upgrade to juanty the upgrade process of installing new
software, an error occurred and the install did not complete. I am now
unsure of how much of the upgrade process completed or is left to do.
After reboot the system appears to be running juanty. This is the
