This is an extremely useful tool for everyone who has many pdf files,
especially scientists who routinely read many documents every day.
Developing it and packaging it would make another reason for Mac users to
switch to Ubuntu. Currently the only reason I have a macbook is the Papers

Which protocol do you use?
VNC use port 5900 by default.
You can monitor network traffic by using netstat.
There are other vnc viewer like vinagre or xvnc4viewer, I have never try
(today, I have a single computer).
So you could know if problems comes from network/vnc server or from vnc client.

I was using Consolas 8 in xchat-gnome, and other apps that use a fixed
width font. gnome-terminal, which I use regularly with Consolas 8, does
not exhibit this problem - ever, even when using irssi (another irc
application). Pidgin does not use the fixed width font, so I don't see

Huh? Keep in mind if you use compat-wireless and have lbm installed
lbm might be picked up first. It depends on /etc/depmod.d/* files. If

Actually, to reproduce this bug, simply access the members section. If
it goes to a black window, which then displays a log in screen, the bug

OK, let me try again.
What I WANT is to locate a folder in the file system, and then
RIGHT-CLICK TERMINAL and as a result find myself with a NEW TERMINAL
WINDOW OPEN at the designated folder (at in the sense of cd).

Is this a result os missung large file support or is this a result

My first instinct was to build compat-wireless (from linuxwireless.org) in
attempt to resolve the aforementioned problem. Unfortunately,
compat-wireless itself did not help at all, so I uninstalled it and then
installed lbm, which did indeed fix it.

The kdebindings package is still on KDE 4.2.2, while the rest of KDE has
been upgraded to 4.3 beta1 in Karmic. I think this is also causing bugs
when Python plasmoids are installed; the python API is at 4.2.2, but the
