FYI: When building your package with pbuilder, use 'sudo pbuilder
--build --extrapackages pkgbinarymangler *.dsc' . That way, your
pbuilder-environment will resemble more closely the buildd and you can
test better if your

It seems to me the problem is with hasciicam and not UVC. UVC is a v4l2
device, and as far as i can tell, VIDIOCGMBUF is a v4l1 ioctl. Should a
v4l1 compatability layer be implemented in UVC, or should the ioctl be
updated in hasciicam? I'm not sure.

transmission crashed with SIGSEGV
Here is a comparison between the size of the chrome (gray) and the area where
you see the actual files (green) in the default nautilus window size on a new
(guest) account. This does not take into account tabs or the bar that appears
when you're about copy files to a writable cd.

last night around midnight i updated karmic. this morning i woke up to
find that devkit-daemon was using up 2.8 GB. yes, GB, as in gigabytes.
i'm pretty sure that's not right...
also gnome-power-manager is pegged at 100% CPU, but i'm guessing that
has to do with the above
