Steve's (#20) suggestion on unlocking and changing left/right volume
settings works perfectly on my Acer Aspire 1 AOA150. I found that any
mix of input volumes so long as they differ. Thanks Steve. I look
forward to trying this on a fresh install on my new Dell Zino HD in a
couple of weeks.

and the OpenSSH client continues using id_rsa to search for key

Ok... I have pulled the latest quickly branch (lp:quickly) into my
branch. I fixed up the main project_name template so it functioned
again, and everything now works again (on my machine... of course lol).
I then tested this my locally merging the trunk and my changes, and it
seems to function ok

well... when the bar isnt there not, I tried moving the mouse on all the 4
sides just in case but nothing appears..
but sometimes when the menubar is there (at the bottom) nothing happens, I mean
I click on it but looks like its halted...
(when I turn off the OS it says "panel not responding")

I had upgraded from juanty to karmic, successfully, most everything was
working. I had even run updates after, then suddenly during an auto-
update everything was failing. I ended up installing fresh 9.10 so I
can't try anything on the old system now.

After a lot of trials I have somewhat solved the sound problem
although not perfect.
This is exactly what I did so far.
I made a full installation (dual booting with windows 7) with
dedicated ext4, swap partitions. No sound yet.
