I'm running Ubuntu Studio 9.10 on x64, and I have my disk partitioned in
a very similar fashion, one NTFS partition for Windows 7, one FAT32
partition for shared data, one ext3 partition for Ubuntu and finally one
small Linux Swap partition that I doubt

your system to resume from suspend than expected. I believe there is a
5 sec barrier which your system likely exceeded.
This bug affects me. I am using Ubuntu 9.10 fully updated as of [2010 february

I can confirm that Yelp does not work with Orca. I must admit I'm
dissapointed that this bug has been given low priority, as the blind
will not be able to access the Ubuntu help system until this is fixed.
This problem is caused by yelp switching from gecko to webkit, and
webkit remains

At the start of the live cd if i select install Kubuntu the monitor switch off

Rather, if euca-add-keypair could be pointed to an existing id file

terrific. The fact that we have to generate a new key each time we
upload an identity to EC2/Eucalyptus is terribly annoying; using an
existing identity/key pair
I believe this is caused by the use of webkit, rather than gecko. It
seems webkit remains non-accessible. I would recommend switching to
gecko until webkit improves.

templates was trying to load also. once that loade i was fine. (now my
problem is i ended up finding my first grub file. now i have to learn grum

Until Ubuntu has an updated version of xclip, one can use the debian
package from squeeze: http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/xclip
It is version 0.12-1. I had no dependency problem to install it in
Jaunty and this unicode/utf-8 problem seems to be fixed.

1) Why bump the compat level? What feature does this bring? Why is it
required?
