Desktop Effects activated with 96.43.17 and the password at GDM login is
now working!
This is what I have done:
-Installed Ubuntu Desktop i386 (20100419.1) test ISO on Wubi (ONLY TO TEST ;-) )

Ricardo, thank you so much for providing the updated kernel. I was
struggling with installing the Ralink driver on my EEE PC 1000h, but
your kernel loaded easily and my wireless works perfectly. Perhaps a
temporary solution would be to distribute your kernel in a PPA.

Well, it's been over a year since I last commented on this. At this
point the wl driver seems pretty solid. I think the rare problems I have
are more likely to do with the access points I connect to and
interference. I think we can close this ticket.

not assign device names at all. The kernel assigns device names, and
for a variety of reasons it pays essentially no attention to the boot
order configured in your BIOS. Any software that assumes that Linux

Just a question: Does this bug occur simply because my driver only
supports glx 1.2, and cairo-dock requires glx1.3? If so, perhaps the
simplest short term solution would be to default cairo-dock to not use
OpenGL when that case is detected.
