Here's a transcript of a session showing problem , at the end after I
create the last_settings file manually evince starts up
So it's not a major issue for me as I can manually create the file to
get evince running.
Note, I originally reported this under Bug 572028 which was the same
issue with l
I believe I accept all defaults up until partitioning. At that point I
created automatic partitions on all 3 x 500GB SATA drives. I designed
the first partition (sda1,sdb1,sdc1) on all 3 drives as bootable. I then
create md0 setting sda1 and sdb1 as the active drives and sdc1 as the
spare. I click
I had the same problem. It maybe caused by the proprietary driver being
unloaded and the dpkg losing it X connection. On reboot I had to run X
in low graphics mode and then ran: sudo dpkg --configure -a

The only improvement I see is to be able to automatically configure the

I just upgraded to Ubuntu 10.04 final over the network (from Karmic to

After the upgrade, it wouldn't reboot.

if you suspend, remove your battery and then wake up, the sensors no longer
work.

I think this is combination of 2 bugs:
- Nautilus freezes because of network failure

Gwibber 2.30.0.1 . Facebook channel not show all replies. When I post a
reply to a comment, is not showed at main stream. If I click to
"replies" stream, not show my reply. If I see the facebook web, I see
the reply that I post with gwibber.
