Public bug reported:
In Ubuntu server 10.04 LTS, I typed passwd to change my password and
accidentally typed the new password in response to the prompt for the
current password. Instead of saying incorrect password or something
equally reasonable, which would have caused me to smack my forehead
This is at least partially fixed by adding ttf-liberation to the ubuntu-
netbook, kubuntu-desktop, kubuntu-netbook seeds, so that the Microsoft
fonts will always have sane font substitution.

Fonts are mapped to ugly fonts (which also causes problems with OOo)
Marking invalid, as this is an old bug which shouldn't apply with the
latest versions of Banshee any more. The current iPod-not-working bug is

Podsleuth fails to unmount iPod before gnome-volume-manager access
Can anyone test if the issue is now fixed with the Ubuntu Maverick's
podsleuth (0.6.7-1)? This version is also available from the Banshee PPA
(https://launchpad.net/~banshee-team/+archive/banshee-stable) which can
be enabled using sudo add-apt-repository ppa:banshee-team/banshee-
stable.

This bug is serious if it's valid, but it's not yet clear that it is
valid. What would help most next is for someone to do the work of
writing precise steps to reproduce the problem, starting from a pristine
installation of 10.04 (or a pristine installation of 9.10 upgraded to
10.04). Currently
I have experienced this with 2 overclocked processors. The current one
is an Intel E3300, stock is 2.5GHz (200*12.5). I pushed the fsb from 200
to 300, giving 3.75GHz (300*12.5). However, the cpu scaling shows 3.33
2.67 2.13 1.6 GHz. I'm guessing the standard stock speeds it is adhering
to are
