I have Geforce 7300 on Ubuntu 10.04 and this bug affects me. Firefox and
Kmail (with small fonts) are the worst. But it affects some ubuntu
dialog boxes too. I's and l's are the worst, but c r and rm characters
can be unreadable at times. It seems to be a random effect though. See

Hibernation is suspended OK but resume failed. By turning
PM verbose debug enabled, it reveals that it's stuck somewhere
within swsusp_arch_resume(). See attached log.

I think I've accidentally purged the configuration of the config server.
It can't update /var/lib/gdm/.ICEauthority because the folder and the
file doesn't exist. I only have a .ICEauthority in my home folder.
Tried all the chowns and chmods suggested here and elsewhere but this
appears to be a l

an email to all subscribers of the branch explaining how to resync their
branch which is (finding the subscribers) not trivial.

On my asus F3JC i have the same problem...
Hybernate and pause are working...but when i wake up the laptop the

I was mistaken. I confused sinks and profiles. With $CARD, withe A52
profile does appear in the Hardware tab in the Sound preferences, so a
suitable .asoundrc is:

It turns out to be due to incorrect categorization in SC:
Quoting mpt, The problem arises because,of how the current fonts
category works: "if a package starts with 'ttf', put it in Fonts", and
ttfm got caught up. It would be a relatively simple fix for someone to
change the Fonts category so that

I suspect this is probably more a question for a forum than a bug report! In
any case, I'm no expert, but I think you ought to be able to find this sort of
message archived in syslog, i.e. /var/log/syslog which you can access with
gedit or cat /var/log/syslog or, if you want to log just for erro
