Hi Jamie,
I should have highlighted the fact that I'm not using the default Lucid
kernel. I'm now using 2.6.35-14.19~lucid1 and the problem is no longer
there.
But I have many messages like this in /var/log/kern.log :
Aug 4 14:48:33 simon-laptop kernel: [ 85.661468] AppArmor DFA
next/check
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 464587 ***

The a2ps error is unrelated as far as I can tell -- bug #248134.

The a2ps error seems to be a duplicate of bug #248134.
The ocaml error seems to be a duplicate of bug #464587.
The frontend() and AT_SPI errors are not related to xemacs21 or emacs22
AFAICT.
Closing as invalid. Feel free to reopen if you feel there are issues
remaining. Thank you for your bug
Could you please try at least verion 3.4.7.0-2 and give me a feedback if
this issue occurs again.

vientito,
Please file a new bug for your issue. This is in keeping with the reasoning
set forward in the kernel policy on bug duplicates:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/Policies/DuplicateBugs
Thanks!
