I had been using a proprietary nVidia graphics driver which was installed using
Additional Drivers (jockey-gtk).
I removed/deactivated this driver, and restarted. The problem is gone.

I have not been able to run 11.10 since early alpha testing, the
upgrades would break it.
Now I can not get 11.10 to install I have tried several times but it

This also might have something to do with mouse events, I don't know,
but anyway I can affect this by how fast I clickc the icons in unity
panel.

This is still happening, window decoration not responding to hovers is

Search no longer, 0.6.8-1 works fine but 0.6.9 from the dropbox
repository is probably not compiled for Nautilus 3.2...
Please don't file bug against Ubuntu if you're not using the official
Ubuntu package. I would suggest to disable the dropbox repository and
downgrade to the Ubuntu package.
